8 year old Samuel has hemiplegia; a condition which results in weakness and lack of control in one side of the body. After seeing DEMAND’s video of trumpet-playing Leah, who also has hemiplegia, Samuel’s mum contacted us to see if we could help him in a similar way. No sooner said than done! Samuel now has his own unique stand which allows him to concentrate on playing great music whilst the stand takes care of supporting his trumpet.
“The stand has been a big success. We get lots of people commenting on how clever an idea it is. Samuel uses his trumpet stand all the time. He is getting very good at playing the trumpet and plays in the Training Wind Band at our local concert.” Samuel’s mum
